| The next Troop meeting (Monday, May 21st) will be held at the Spring Brook Cemetery off of Spring St. The Troop will be doing their part to honor fallen Americans who have died in wars by placing flags at designated gravesites. Al Scouts should arrive at the entrance on Spring St. by 7pm. This is a Class A event, and will be held rain or shine. Be prepared. The PLC will meet at 6:30pm at the cemetery entrance. Patrol leaders are encouraged to arrange to have at least one daypack for their patrol to hold flags during the flag placement. Scouts are encouraged to learn more about Memorial Day at VFW.org |

Add Comment All Scouts & Parents are invited to the Troop's Court of Honor on April 9, 2012 at 7:30pm (Note: Scouts will meet at the usual 7pm time) This Court of Honor will be special, as besides the usual activities, it will be the first Court of Honor for our new Scouts crossing over from Cub Scouts. Let's make sure we give these new Scouts a great welcome. We will also have a visit from a Friends of scouting Representative. They will detail the program, which helps to raise funds for our Council. There will be a Court of Honor on January 23. All are invited to celebrate the achievements of Troop members. Prior to the Court of Honor, there will be a pack inspection for all those attending the Klondike Derby. | Troop 17Troop 17 was chartered June 1, 1923.
