Please make all efforts to car pool and/or consolidate transportation methods. This will not only limit traffic for our neighbors, but also alleviate congestion in the camp parking lots.
Be mindful of your speed though Gilmanton.
Direction signs will be posted for your convenience. At all times please follow the speed limits in the town of Gilmanton. Many access roads are posted 25 miles per hour, and they are heavily patrolled on weekends. Thanks for your cooperation.
NOTE: Access to Camp Bell is through Hidden Valley only.
Expect a 3 to 3 1/2 hour drive to camp.

Take Route 495 North to US-3 North (Exit 35B - towards Nashua, NH). Continue on Rte 3 (Frederick Everett Turnpike - toll road) thru Manchester, NH.  Merge onto Rte 93 North, and ontie for 30 minles. Take Exit 20 to Route 140 toward Belmont to Gilmanton.
Notes: Exit 20 is a good place to stop for food.  There are few amenities after this point.
              - Be prepared for three $1 tolls near manchester, NH
              - Any alternate route to 93-N is acceptable.
              - We have found recent construction delays on 93-N from Rte 128 to the Mass. border and at Manchester, NH.  Use at your peril.
SUGGESTED ROUTE (from Rte 93, Exit 20)
Traveling East on Rt. 140 After crossing Rt. 107 go 6.3 miles on Rt. 140 and turn left onto Crystal Lake Road.
Soon after turning onto Crystal Lake Road, bear LEFT at the fork, staying on Crystal Lake Road. Travel 3.2 miles turn right onto Places Mill Road. Griswold Scout Reservation entrance is .6 miles on the left. Follow the internal camp signs for HIDDEN VALLEY and CAMP BELL
IMPORTANT: Do not take a right at the fork Mountain Rd.  Bridge repairs have closed the road. This route has ben popular in the past, but you will be forced to turn several miles into the rout, should you take it.  All traffic must go to the left at Mountain, and proceed through the town to Crystal Lake.  The Camp has posted large signs.  Please follow them, accordingly.
