Check out the adventures that our Scouts had in the 2010-2011 "Scouting season", from rafting to mountain climbing to kayaking, it was a great year!

Current Year's Photo's

New England Air Museum (Nov 9-11, 2012)

Picture
Up in the air, junior birdmen.  Troop 17's Scouts experienced the wonders of flight at New England Air Museum in Hartford, CT (near Bradley Airport). We camped in Bozrah, CT at the Mark Greer Scout Reservation, right along the lake.  Scouts dined with an international theme, too.

Golden Rodent Award Scavenger Hunt (May 17-19, 2013)

Picture
All good plans need a good backup.  After the PLC's plan to work on the Engineering Merit Badge found some major obstacles, the PLC masterfully crafted a wonderful "Plan B" trip.  The Troop stayed at Camp Sayre, then headed into Boston to scour the city for the historic, the cool and the odd, as they participated in a Patrol-based photo-scavenger hunt.  The winning patrol gained control of the coveted "Golden Rodent" award.
