Franklin YMCA Ropes Course (Nov 5, 2011)The Troop will challenge Ropes Course at the YMCA in Franklin, MA. The couse features both low and high elements that will be sure to challenge anyone.

Klondike Derby (Jan. 27-29, 2012)The Winter winds will be blowing as the Troop travels to the Snow-fueled games of the Klondike Derby at Camp Norse in Kingston, MA. Look forward to sled races, snowshoeing, snow cave building, and other fun winter activities. We'll be camping in the comfortable Adirondack-style cabins.

Troop Ski Trip (Feb. 11-12, 2012)The Troop will travel to Mt. Cranmore to Ski, tube and coast the mountains. We'll also get to try out the new Alpine Swing (Weeeee!!!!)

Mt. Cardigan Hike (Feb 21-24, 2012)Older Scouts will be braving the winter challenge of Mt. Cardigan. They will snow shoe for two days on wintry Mt. Cardigan. They'll get to rest in the luxury of the AMC's High Cabin deep in the backwoods of the area.
This Trip is for approved Star Scouts and above
Prior to the trip, there will be several mandatory events:

Mark Greer Scout Reservation Trip (Mar 23-25, 2012)The Scouts head to Bozrah, CT to stay at the Mark Greer Scout Reservation. The Troop will tour the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center and work on the Indian Lore Merit Badge

Treasure Valley Trip (April 27-29, 2012)The Troop will welcome the new Scouts with a trip to Mohegan Council's Treasure Valley Scout Reservation, a camp established in 1925, in Rutland, MA. Besides helping the new Scouts develop skills to advance towards First Class rank, the Troop will be doing some fun skill stations

Purgatory Chasm Trip (May 25-27)The Troop will do some bouldering in the unique environment of Purgatory Chasm in Sutton, MA. Challenge rock formations like "Fat Man's Misery" and "Devil's Corncrib" in this boulder field. Scouts will also get an opportunity to get some work done on the Geology Merit Badge.

Kennebec White Water Rafting (June 30-July 1, 2012)Brave the rapids as a dam on the Kennebec river is released! We'll be headed to Maine, to ride the big water. The Troop is securign a bus for this trip, so we may enjoy the scenery of Maine on the way up.
