Welcome to Troop 17Troop 17 was chartered June 1, 1923. The charter organization for Troop 17 is the Orthodox Congregational Church in Mansfield, MA.
Troop 17 is in the Angle Tree District of the Annawon Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Troop 17 is a Scout-led organization, and subscribes to the Mission, Aims & Methods of the BSA, as shown below:
Mission Statement
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Many thanks to all those who helped out unloading the 750 trees from the big rig, and getting the lot setup on Saturday!
