Tree Delivery & Unloading - Saturday, Nov 29 at 8am

Where: The Eckhart's house 13 James St, Mansfield
When: Saturday Nov.23 at 8am
Please note that Tree Delivery is MANDATORY for all scouts.

If your scout is unable to attend, we need to know ahead of time.  Absences that are not communicated will have to be made up by taking on an additional shift at the Tree Lot.  If your scout cannot make it on Saturday, please e-mail Mrs. O'Regan and Mr. Gillogly as soon as possible, so we can make sure our list is up to date in advance.  If your scout is taken with some dread disease on Saturday morning, you can leave a message on Mrs. O'Regan's cell phone  (see the e-mail sent to you for the number).

We encourage adults to join us on Saturday.  There will be plenty for all to do - we will be unloading nearly 750 trees, sorting them, counting them and moving them over to the tree lot to be ready for sale in the late afternoon.

And one item of courtesy - we are arriving in a usually quiet neighborhood early on a Saturday morning, please keep the running and yelling to a minimum, lest we lose the honor of being able to store our trees so close to the lot.

Many thanks to all for your support of the scouting program, and here is to another successful tree sale!

Let's beat our record for unloading trees  -- 52 minutes, set in 2013!

Church Raking Service Project

Note that the Bacon, Atomic Taco & Sky Hawk Patrols will be doing a service project during tree unloading.  These patrols will be helping out our chartered organization by raking leaves around the church.

Scouts & parents in the two patrols should report directly to the tree lot at 9am.   Scouts should be dressed for the task, and any rakes are appreciated, as well.

If any parent from those patrols has a leaf blower (& extension cords, as needed), that has proven helpful in the past.
