Ian Bryer and Ethan Ham celebrate, just after their recent Eagle Board of Review. Ian is Troop 17's 69th Eagle Scout, and Ethan is our 70th Eagle Scout!
Ian's Eagle Project involved renovating the old concession stand in Memorial Park to make it useful for use by the Mansfield Summer Camp program. Ian had to interact with the Town to have several large appliances removed. He then repaired some shelving, and painted the building, restoring it to a usable state.
Ethan created a pollination garden at the entrance to the Mass Audobon Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary in Attleboro. He planted blooming flowers and shrubs to attract pollinators, like bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, to the area. He also improved the garden grounds.
