Should you have any flags to retire for next year's ceremony, please drop them off in the Scout room at the Orthodox Congregational Church.
On September 20, 2014, Troop 17 held a flag retirement ceremony at Mansfield Municipal Airport. This was the first time that we were able to use Eagle Scout Tim Elofson's project, a fire ring, for its intended purpose. The Troop held a twilight ceremony, and retired over 650 flags. We are very proud of our Scouts, who put together and performed the ceremony with great respect for the flags that they were retiring. Should you have any flags to retire for next year's ceremony, please drop them off in the Scout room at the Orthodox Congregational Church.
