Mr. Ham is once again leading the expedition up Mt. Cardigan over February Vacation - the 15th through the 18th.

This is a trip you will never forget. We hike up the mountain in snowshoes & packs, and stay at the picturesque AMC High Hut - well above any other humans. You get to stay warm and enjoy the incredible vista.

If you are a Star Scout or above and would like to be considered for this winter hiking adventure, please see Mr. Gillogly by Dec 22.

There will be two training day hikes in the Blue Hills, and all must attend.  We have cabin space for nine scouts and three adults, so please reply quickly.  Cost is $50 per scout for this expedition and anyone attending all of the training hikes and the expedition will receive a partial refund (amount to be determined).

The National Youth Leadership Training  (NYLT)  is an exciting, action-packed  program designed to provide youth members with leadership skills  and experiences, These skills are useful in your troop, personal lives, and in other  situations demanding leadership of self and others.  NYLT is a course for Boy Scouts,  Varsity Scouts, and Venturing Scouts.

The training is run by youth and taught by youth.  You will learn from your peers, many of whom are living the skills they are teaching in leadership positions in their troops, schools, sports groups, and other youth groups.  You will meet many new friends from other troops, and will gain knowledge that will help you throughout your life.

Weekend 1 on March 6-8
